GMO Internet Group to develop Credit card payment processing service business, GMO Payment Gateway, Inc. (TSE Mothers: Securities Code: 3769 Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo Capital: 647,920,000 yen President & Chief Executive Officer: Issei Ainoura URL : http://www.gmo-pg.com/ hereinafter referred to as "the Company") is a subsidiary of the Japan Broadcasting Corporation (Chairman: Genichi Hashimoto, http://www.nhk.or.jp/ hereinafter referred to as "NHK") and "NHK") have entered into a contract regarding the operation of a system for continuous credit card payment, which will be applied to NHK broadcast reception fees from June 2006 onwards (from the second period of the Heisei 18 fiscal year onward).

Service overview
From the second period (June ~ July) of Heisei 18, it will be possible to continue to receive payment on various credit cards of VISA, MasterCard, JCB, UFJ, Nicos, Saison, UC, DC, OMC, and Nissenren every 2 months, 6 months, and 12 months.
In addition, the broadcast reception fee amount will be the same as Account transfer, and it will be 50 yen cheaper per month than the door-to-door collection.
How to apply
You can enter the application form on your computer or mobile phone from NHK's website (Internet Sales Center), fill out the prescribed application form and mail it to NHK, or accept it at the counter of each NHK broadcasting station or sales center.
It is also possible to apply through a partner credit card company.
