GMO Payment Gateway Enters into Sustainability Link Loan contract with Mizuho Bank MUFG Bank
~Financing of a total of 10 billion yen against the backdrop of decarbonization initiatives and external evaluation~

The GMO Internet Group's GMO Payment Gateway, Inc. (President & Chief Executive Officer: Issei Ainoura hereinafter referred to as GMO-PG) is Mizuho Bank, Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Mizuho Bank"), and MUFG Bank, Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "MUFG Bank") ^(*1) We signed a Sustainability-Linked Loan contract with the Bank of Korea and raised a total of 10 billion yen (5 billion yen for each bank) on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
This loan is a loan in which loan conditions such as interest rates are linked according to the borrower's achievement of sustainability performance targets (SPT).

[GMO-PG's Sustainability Initiatives]

GMO-PG identifies materiality (material issues) and pursues "realization of a sustainable society" and "enhancement of corporate value". The basic philosophy of sustainability management is to contribute to the growth of customers and the realization of a sustainable society while working together with stakeholders who support our business activities, and to achieve sustainable growth and increase corporate value.
In the environmental field, we are working to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions under the motto of "contributing to the global environment through cashlessness." For Scope 1 and Scope 2, we achieved effectively zero of GHG emissions in the fiscal year ended September 2023 and have continued to achieve carbon neutrality since then.
In addition, we are engaged with suppliers to reduce Scope 3 emissions.
In addition, we are working to reduce emissions by 2030 and achieve net-zero by 2050, and these targets have been certified by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) as a 1.5°C target for 2030 and a net-zero target for 2050 ^(*2).​
As a result of these efforts, we were selected for the first time on CDP's "A List" in December 2025, the highest rating in the field of climate change ^(*3). In February 2026, we received an A rating in the CDP Supplier Engagement Evaluation ^(*4), marking the second consecutive year that we have been selected.

As a sustainability goal, we have set an SPT to maintain an "A- or higher" in the CDP Climate Change Score. Depending on the achievement of the target during the Loan Period, the loan conditions such as interest rates will be linked. This project integrates GMO-PG's sustainability initiatives into the financing framework.
