GMO Internet Group's GMO Payment Gateway, Inc. (President & Chief Executive Officer: Issei Ainoura, hereinafter referred to as GMO-PG) provides card payment processing functions for the AI invoice sending system "Bakuraku Invoice Issuance" provided by LayerX Inc. (Representative Director & CEO: Yoshinori Fukushima, hereinafter referred to as "LayerX"). Bakuraku Invoice Issuance to help provide a Card payment option that enables invoice credit card payments. This option will be available from Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
Through this partnership, LayerX will expand its payment means on its platform and add value to its billing and payment capabilities. As a result, companies using Bakuraku Invoice Issuance can streamline billing and payment operations, reduce debt collection risks, and use card payment to flexibly manage their funds.
GMO-PG will continue to support the improvement of payment flexibility in business-to-business transactions through various initiatives, including the provision of various payment services to platform operators.
【Background and Summary】
In recent years, the business environment surrounding companies has become increasingly severe due to external factors such as the depreciation of the yen and high prices, as well as rising interest rates and structural labor shortages.
