CSS Co., Ltd. (President & Chief Executive Officer: Izumi Hiroaki, hereinafter referred to as CSS), a group company of Sumitomo Life Insurance Company, and GMO Epsilon, Inc. ^(*1) (President & Chief Executive Officer: Tomoyuki Murakami, hereinafter referred to as GMO Epsilon), a group company of the GMO Internet Group, have collaborated to provide a payment management service provided by CSS, "TREE PAYMENT^{". (*2)}- Zero Deposit Matching VAce (Base) -^(*3)" will start operation on March 25, 2026.
This enables near real-time visualization and management of Bank transfer payment information, automating the reconciliation between deposit information and contract that were traditionally performed by humans, reducing manual verification.
It has been introduced to Sumitomo Life Insurance Company (hereinafter referred to as Sumitomo Life) from the same day.

"TREE PAYMENT" is a payment management service developed and provided by CSS based on the Bank transfer (Virtual Account) function of the online infrastructure of payments" fincode byGMO" provided by GMO Epsilon and combining the know-how related to Bank transfer operations that CSS has cultivated over many years. By automatically issuing a dedicated transfer account (virtual account) for each deposit process, it is possible to visualize and manage deposit information by Bank transfer in near real time.

• Automatic creation of dedicated bank transfer accounts (virtual accounts) on a per-invoice/ contract basis.
• Real-time visualization of deposit status and surplus/deficit.
• Centralized management and search of response status through status management.

These functions make it possible to link payment information to contract even for payments made by Bank transfer, which was previously essential for manual confirmation.

In a typical Bank transfer, the name of the transfer requester can be arbitrarily set on the payer's side, making it difficult to identify the transaction details and customers using only the transfer information.
