The Company has been selected as a constituent of this index for three consecutive years since 2023.

MSCI Japan ESG Select Leaders Index

This is an ESG investment index provided by Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI), and companies with relatively high ESG ratings in each industry are selected from among the constituents of the parent index (MSCI Japan IMI Index).
This index is used as an ESG index for GPIF operations.
The Company has been selected as a constituent of the index for two consecutive years since 2024.

S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index

It is an ESG index by S&P and Japan Exchange Group, and is an index that determines the weight of constituent stocks by focusing on the status of environmental information disclosure and the level of carbon efficiency (carbon emissions per unit of sales) with TOPIX as the universe.
This index is used as an ESG index by the GPIF.

ESG External Evaluation

CDP

CDP provides companies with three questionnaires, namely climate change, forest, and water security, and scores them on an eight-point scale from A to D-, on a scale of "disclosure," "awareness," "management," and "leadership."
In December 2025, we received an A rating for climate change and a B rating for forests.

CDP Supplier Engagement Assessment

The CDP Supplier Engagement Assessment is an indicator that evaluates how effectively companies collaborate with suppliers to address climate change challenges across their supply chains, based on responses to four key areas of the Climate Change Questionnaire: governance, targets, Scope 3 emissions calculation, and collaboration with suppliers.
In February 2026, our company was selected for the second consecutive year as a "Supplier Engagement Leader" for a company highly recognized for its outreach to suppliers.

MSCI ESG Ratings

MSCI analyzes companies' environmental, social, and governance initiatives and risk management capabilities around the world, and evaluates them on a seven-point scale from AAA (the highest) to CCC.
In the August 2024 assessment, it was upgraded from the previous "BBB" rating to an "A" rating.

Outstanding Organizations of KENKO Investment for Health Certifications

In line with the Health Declaration "Well-being With Partners," in order to support the sustainable growth and success of our partners (employees), we have developed an organizational structure centered on the Chief Well-being Officer (CWO) and a rich welfare program of "food," "healing," "leap," and "medicine," and in March 2026, as a result of these evaluations, we were awarded the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry It has been certified as a Outstanding Organizations of KENKO Investment for Health (large corporation category) for four consecutive years in the supervisory and the Nippon Kenko Kaigi certification.

In addition to the health promotion environment in the workplace ((1) utilization of health checkup results, (2) improvement of the health promotion environment, (3) diet, (4) exercise, (5) smoking cessation, (6) mental health), workplace safety and health initiatives ((1) health checkups and prevention of aggravation, (2) health management and safety and health activities, (3) mental health measures, (4) prevention of overwork, (5) measures to prevent infectious diseases, (6) health and productivity management) were evaluated. Safety and Health Excellence Company Certification Mark

Certified as an Excellent Health and Safety Company

In May 2024, we were recognized as an Excellent Company in Safety and Health by the Director General of the Tokyo Labor Bureau of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare in recognition of our efforts to improve literacy through the in-house portal "PG HEALTH Portal" and health apps, as well as consultation support using "Cocokara" (a consultation service for the mind and body).

Platinum Kurumin certified

Kurumin certified Subsequently, the introduction and use of a support system for balancing childcare and work has progressed, and in June 2024, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) was certified as a child-rearing support company (nickname; Platinum Kurumin).

In March 2022, we obtained certification as a child-rearing support company (nickname: Kurumin) from the Director General of the Tokyo Labor Bureau of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare based on the "Act on Promotion of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Generations" from the Director General of the Tokyo Labor Bureau of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.

Eruboshi Certification (3 stars)

In July 2023, we were certified by the Director-General of the Tokyo Labor Bureau of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) as a company with an excellent achievement status of five initiatives related to women's empowerment (recruitment, continued employment, work styles such as working hours, ratio of managers, and diverse career courses), and received the highest rank of 3 stars in the "Eruboshi Certification" certification as a company that promotes women's empowerment.

TOKYO Papa Education Promotion Company (Bronze)

As a company that has achieved a certain percentage of male childcare acquisition rates by enlightening and promoting men's participation in "independent childcare" rather than "cooperation" from an earlier stage, we were registered by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government in September 2025 and obtained the "TOKYO Papa Childcare Promotion Company (Bronze)".

The FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index is designed as a sector neutral benchmark that reflects the performance of companies demonstrating strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices in Japan. The S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index is designed to measure the performance of companies in the Tokyo Stock Price Index (TOPIX, "underlying index"), while overweighting or underweighting those companies that have lower or higher levels of carbon emissions per unit of revenue and disclosure of environmental information.
This index is adopted as the ESG index for the investment of GPIF.

External Evaluation of Our ESG Initiatives

CDP

CDP prepares three climate change, forests and water security questionnaires for corporates. CDP scoring is done across four levels of information disclosure, awareness, management and leadership which is ascribed an 8-notch scoring from A to D-.
The Company scored a B for both Climate Change and Forests in August 2025.

CDP Supplier Engagement Assessment

CDP's Supplier Engagement Assessment how effectively companies collaborate with their suppliers to address climate-related issues across the supply chain. The rating is based on organizations' responses to four key areas in the CDP Climate Change Questionnaire: governance, targets, Scope 3 emissions accounting, and supplier engagement.
The Company was selected as a Supplier Engagement Leader for the first time in July 2025 as a company highly rated for its efforts in engaging with suppliers.

MSCI ESG RATING

MSCI ESG RATING is based on MSCI's analysis of companies' environmental, social and governance practices and risk management capabilities, and are rated on a seven-point scale ranging from the lowest CCC rating to the highest AAA rating.
In August 2024, GMO-PG was upgraded from the 'BBB' rating to the 'A' rating.

Certified Health and Productivity Outstanding Organization

Under the health declaration "Well-being With Partners", the Company has been certified for the second year in a row as a Health and Productivity Management Outstanding Organization ( Large Enterprise Category) on March 2024, by The Nippon Kenko Kaigi, an organization administered by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Trade, in recognition for its initiatives to encourage the sustainable growth and productivity of partners (employees) such as adopting an organizational structure centered on the Chief Well-being Officer (CWO) and the abundant employee welfare programs under the themes of "Food," "Healing," "Movement" and "Medicine."

Silver Certificate for "excellent health company"

In recognition of the various initiatives to support the healthy and active lifestyle of partners (100% achievement of annual health checkup, ① responding to the annual health checkup results, ② building an environment conducive to healthiness, ③ nutrition and food, ④ exercise, ⑤ non-smoking and, ⑥ mental health), the Company was awarded the Silver Certificate by the Tokyo Federation of the National Federation of Health Insurance Societies on September 2023.

Certified as an Excellent Health and Safety Company

The Company was certified as an "Excellent Safety and Health Company" by the Director-General of the Tokyo Labor Bureau of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare on May 2024, in recognition of its labor, safety and health initiatives such as literacy-raising measures offered through the in-company portal "PG HEALTH Portal" and "Pep Up" provided by the health insurance society, as well as consultation support "Cocokara" (a consultation service for mental and physical health).

Platinum Kurumin Certification

Since receiving the Kurumin certification, the Company has stepped up its initiatives that have led to the progresses made in implementation and usage of work-childcare support systems. In recognition of these advanced initiatives, the company received the Childcare Supporting Corporate certification (a.k.a. "Platinum Kurumin")* from the Director of the Tokyo Labor Bureau, Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, under the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children, on June 2024.

Kurumin Certification

In March 2022, GMO-PG was certified by the Director of the Tokyo Labor Bureau, Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, under the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children, as a company that supports child-care (known as "Kurumin") for its efforts to help employees balance work and child-raising, including a revision of staggered working hours, shortened working-hour system and the introduction of subsidies for the use of babysitters.

Eruboshi Certification (Three-star)

The Company received the highest 3-star "Eruboshi" certification for its promotion of empowerment of women from the Director of the Tokyo Labor Bureau, Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, in July 2023. This award recognizes outstanding companies for their achievements to empower women under the five initiatives of (i) recruitment, (ii) continued employment, (iii) work styles such as working hours, (iv) proportion of women in managerial positions and (v) diverse career courses.

Great Place to Work Certification

GMO-PG was certified as a "Great Place to Work Certification" for the tenth consecutive time in August 2024, in the survey conducted by Great Place to Work® Institute Japan.
