"Information Leakage Protector" is an insurance policy that covers various expenses to be borne by the business operator in the event that personal information owned by the business operator is leaked to the outside, and GMO-PG will carry out the procedure as a non-life insurance agent.
【Background and Summary】
According to a survey by the NPO Japan Network Security Association, there were 1,388 cases of personal information leakage from companies in 2013, and more than 900 cases in the first half of 2014 alone. (*3) If personal information is leaked, it will not only lead to a loss of trust from customers and damage to the brand, but also direct damage to customers, and there is a risk of loss such as compensation for damages and lawsuits.
