FTSE4Good Index Series

The Index Series is designed to measure the performance of companies demonstrating strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices.
GMO-PG has been selected as constituent of this index for three consecutive years since 2023.

* FTSE Russell (the trading name of FTSE International Limited and Frank Russell Company) confirms that GMO Payment Gateway, Inc. has been independently assessed according to the FTSE4Good criteria, and has satisfied the requirements to become a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series. Created by the global index provider FTSE Russell, the FTSE4Good Index Series is designed to measure the performance of companies demonstrating strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices. The FTSE4Good indices are used by a wide variety of market participants to create and assess responsible investment funds and other products.

FTSE Blossom Japan Index

The Index is designed to measure the performance of Japanese companies demonstrating strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices.
This index is adopted as the ESG index for the investment of Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF).
GMO-PG has been selected as constituent of this index for three consecutive years since 2023.

* FTSE Russell confirms that GMO Payment Gateway, Inc. has been independently assessed according to the index criteria, and has satisfied the requirements to become a constituent of the FTSE Blossom Japan Index. The FTSE Blossom Japan Index is used by a wide variety of market participants to create and assess responsible investment funds and other products.

FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index

The index is designed by FTSE Russell to measure the performance of Japanese companies that demonstrate strong Environment, Social and Government (ESG) practices in each sector and is constructed so that each industry or sector aligns with the Japanese equity market.
This index is adopted as the ESG index for the investment of Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF).
GMO-PG has been selected as constituent of this index for four consecutive years since 2022.

*GMO Payment Gateway, Inc. announces it has been included in the FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index.
The FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index is designed as a sector neutral benchmark that reflects the performance of companies demonstrating strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices in Japan. The index selects companies with higher ESG Ratings within the top 50% of each sector and supports climate transition to a low carbon economy by evaluating companies' climate governance and climate change efforts via the Transition Pathway Initiative's Management Quality Score.

MSCI NIHONKABU ESG SELECT LEADERS INDEX

The Index is a selection of companies with relatively high ESG ratings from each industry among the constituents of the parent index (MSCI Japan IMI Index) created by Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI)
This index is adopted as the ESG index for the investment of Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF).
GMO-PG has been selected as constituent of this index for two consecutive years since 2024.

S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index

The S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index is designed to measure the performance of companies in the Tokyo Stock Price Index (TOPIX, "underlying index"), while overweighting or underweighting those companies that have lower or higher levels of carbon emissions per unit of revenue and disclosure of environmental information.
This index is adopted as the ESG index for the investment of GPIF.

CDP

CDP prepares three climate change, forests and water security questionnaires for corporates. CDP scoring is done across four levels of information disclosure, awareness, management and leadership which is ascribed an 8-notch scoring from A to D-.
The Company scored a B for both Climate Change and Forests in August 2025.

CDP Supplier Engagement Assessment

CDP's Supplier Engagement Assessment how effectively companies collaborate with their suppliers to address climate-related issues across the supply chain. The rating is based on organizations' responses to four key areas in the CDP Climate Change Questionnaire: governance, targets, Scope 3 emissions accounting, and supplier engagement.
The Company was selected as a Supplier Engagement Leader for the first time in July 2025 as a company highly rated for its efforts in engaging with suppliers.

MSCI ESG RATING

MSCI ESG RATING is based on MSCI's analysis of companies' environmental, social and governance practices and risk management capabilities, and are rated on a seven-point scale ranging from the lowest CCC rating to the highest AAA rating.
In August 2024, GMO-PG was upgraded from the 'BBB' rating to the 'A' rating.

Certified Health and Productivity Outstanding Organization

Under the health declaration "Well-being With Partners", the Company has been certified for the second year in a row as a Health and Productivity Management Outstanding Organization (Large Enterprise Category) on March 2024, by The Nippon Kenko Kaigi, an organization administered by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Trade, in recognition for its initiatives to encourage the sustainable growth and productivity of partners (employees) such as adopting an organizational structure centered on the Chief Well-being Officer (CWO) and the abundant employee welfare programs under the themes of "Food," "Healing," "Movement" and "Medicine."

Silver Certificate for "excellent health company"

In recognition of the various initiatives to support the healthy and active lifestyle of partners (100% achievement of annual health checkup, ① responding to the annual health checkup results, ② building an environment conducive to healthiness, ③ nutrition and food, ④ exercise, ⑤ non-smoking and, ⑥ mental health), the Company was awarded the Silver Certificate by the Tokyo Federation of the National Federation of Health Insurance Societies on September 2023.

Certified as an Excellent Health and Safety Company

The Company was certified as an "Excellent Safety and Health Company" by the Director-General of the Tokyo Labor Bureau of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare on May 2024, in recognition of its labor, safety and health initiatives such as literacy-raising measures offered through the in-company portal "PG HEALTH Portal" and "Pep Up" provided by the health insurance society, as well as consultation support "Cocokara" (a consultation service for mental and physical health).

Platinum Kurumin Certification

Since receiving the Kurumin certification, the Company has stepped up its initiatives that have led to the progresses made in implementation and usage of work-childcare support systems. In recognition of these advanced initiatives, the company received the Childcare Supporting Corporate certification (a.k.a. "Platinum Kurumin")* from the Director of the Tokyo Labor Bureau, Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, under the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children, on June 2024.

Kurumin Certification

In March 2022, GMO-PG was certified by the Director of the Tokyo Labor Bureau, Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, under the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children, as a company that supports child-care (known as "Kurumin") for its efforts to help employees balance work and child-raising, including a revision of staggered working hours, shortened working-hour system and the introduction of subsidies for the use of babysitters.

Eruboshi Certification (Three-star)

The Company received the highest 3-star "Eruboshi" certification for its promotion of empowerment of women from the Director of the Tokyo Labor Bureau, Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, in July 2023. This award recognizes outstanding companies for their achievements to empower women under the five initiatives of (i) recruitment, (ii) continued employment, (iii) work styles such as working hours, (iv) proportion of women in managerial positions and (v) diverse career courses.

Great Place to Work Certification

GMO-PG was certified as a "Great Place to Work Certification" for the tenth consecutive time in August 2024, in the survey conducted by Great Place to Work® Institute Japan.
