GMO Internet Group to develop non-face-to-face credit card payment processing business GMO Payment Gateway, Inc. (TSE Partial: Securities Code: 3769 Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President & Chief Executive Officer: Issei Ainoura (hereinafter referred to as "GMO-PG") announced on September 1(Wednesday)1, 2013 that its local subsidiary, GMO PAYMENT GATEWAY HONG KONG Hong Kong S.A.R., announced on September 11, 2013 that its local subsidiary, GMO PAYMENT GATEWAY HONG KONG LIMITED was established.

In October 2013, GMO-PG will start offering the overseas payment service "GMO-PG Global Payment" to Japan businesses that are expanding into overseas countries and developing non-face-to-face businesses such as E-commerce.

【Overview】

GMO-PG was consolidated in October 2012 by Singapore subsidiary GMO PAYMENT GATEWAY PTE. Starting with the establishment of LTD., we are proceeding with plans for the overseas expansion of payment processing business, mainly in Asia.
In the course of proceeding with this plan, we have determined that there is a particularly high need for Hong Kong S.A.R. from non-face-to-face business operators who E-commerce expand from Japan to overseas countries and sell games and digital content, and we have established a local subsidiary as a priority.
In October 2013, we will start offering the overseas payment service "GMO-PG Global Payment" to Japan E-commerce content sales companies operating in Hong Kong S.A.R..

GMO-PG will continue to expand its services by establishing local subsidiaries or branches in Southeast Asia and East Asia, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Taiwan, and by collaborating with optimal alliance partners who provide major payment method in each country.

[ About the overseas payment service "GMO-PG Global Payment"]

The overseas payment service "GMO-PG Global Payment" is a service for Japan businesses that have local subsidiaries that have expanded into overseas countries and develop non-face-to-face businesses such as E-commerce (*). By connecting to the GMO-PG Global Platform, businesses can use the service in multiple countries and multiple payment method.
GMO-PG has established local subsidiaries and branches in each country where the GMO-PG Global Platform can be used, and in addition to providing support from negotiations in Japanese to operational support, sales proceeds are deposited in the local currency of the country where the service is used, so you can use it with peace of mind.
In addition to providing payment services, GMO-PG also proposes optimal solutions for customer service development by Thailand with local businesses in each country for logistics, promotion, marketing, etc., which are necessary for non-face-to-face business such as E-commerce.

(*) When using this service by a corporation in Japan, it will be provided to the extent that it does not conflict with restrictions on cross-border transactions of credit card brands or the laws of overseas countries.
