GMO Financial Gateway adopts GMO Payment Gateway's payment platform as a payment foundation for Mitsui Fudosan Retail Management-operated commercial facilities.

GMO Internet Group's GMO Financial Gate, Inc. ^(*1) (President & Chief Executive Officer: Kentaro Sugiyama, hereinafter "GMO-FG") and GMO Payment Gateway, Inc. (President & Chief Executive Officer: Issei Ainoura "GMO-PG") hereby announce that the payment platforms of GMO-FG and GMO-PG have been adopted at commercial facilities operated by Mitsui Fudosan Retail Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "MFSM"). With this project, approximately 15,000 terminals will be delivered sequentially to approximately 80 commercial facilities operated by MFSM, and from the end of June 2026, full-scale operation will be gradually advanced according to each facility's implementation plan.

This decision is based on the comprehensive standard services and flexible scalability of GMO-FG's payment platform, as well as the ability to meet diverse payment needs with an all-in-one device, as well as the various services provided by GMO-PG for stores, the "GMO Cashless Platform," which offers various QR and barcode payment services for stores. It was recognized for its ability to be introduced and operated without relying on the facility's internal network environment.

In recent years, the payment environment surrounding commercial facilities has changed dramatically, with payment method users seeking increasingly diverse, including credit cards, electronic money, and QR code payment. Accordingly, facility operators are required not only to stably support multiple payment method but also to develop a payment infrastructure that can flexibly operate according to facility characteristics and tenant composition, and to accommodate future functional expansions.
Against this backdrop, MFSM decided to introduce an payment platform utilizing the payment platforms of GMO-FG and GMO-PG to improve convenience and operational efficiency in commercial facilities.
