Wix and GMO-EP Partner to Launch New payment method for Japan Markets

Wix.com Ltd. (NASDAQ: WIX) (Headquarters: Tel Aviv, Israel, CEO: Abishai Abrahami, hereinafter referred to as "Wix"), a website creation service, and GMO Epsilon, Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President & Chief Executive Officer: Yusuke Arai, hereinafter referred to as "GMO-EP"), a consolidated company of GMO Payment Gateway, Inc. in the GMO Internet Group, have partnered. Japan announced the launch of a new payment method today, Wednesday, August 7, 2019 for e-commerce businesses that use Wix's online store feature, Wix Store.

Through this partnership, Japan e-commerce businesses that use the "Wix Store" will be able to use "Pay-easy" that allows payment at online bank and financial institution ATMs if the business is a corporate business owner, in addition to the "Credit card payment" and "CVS Payment" service with low commission rates provided by GMO-EP. It will be possible to introduce all the necessary items at once. These provide a wider range of payment method for customers to choose from at payment time, making it even more convenient.

If you're an eCommerce merchant who has set your business location as "Japan" as of today in the Wix Store dashboard, you'll be able to add all you need from the three payment method provided by GMO-EP at once. You can add payment method from the dashboard under payment Status > payment Method.
