GMO Epsilon, Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President & Chief Executive Officer: Yusuke Arai, hereinafter referred to as "GMO Epsilon"), a consolidated company of GMO Payment Gateway, Inc. in the GMO Internet Group, has partnered with Sumitomo Mitsui Card Company, Limited (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President & Chief Executive Officer: Hideo Shimada, hereinafter referred to as Sumitomo Mitsui Card) in the online payment processing services "Epsilon" On May 29, 2014, we started offering the Credit card payment service "Credit card payment (multiple currencies)" that supports 21 types of overseas currencies. As a result, e-commerce businesses using Epsilon will be able to provide Credit card payment in local currencies to more than 4 billion consumers (*1) in 44 countries around the world, and the number of sales by overseas online shop users is expected to increase.

In addition, to commemorate the launch of "Credit card payment (Multicurrency)", we will be running a campaign in which monthly fixed costs will be waived from June to September 2014.

We have started to provide the following services. As a result, e-commerce businesses can offer Credit card payment in local currencies with a highly convenient local currency to overseas markets with a population of more than 4 billion in 44 countries around the world, and overseas customers can enjoy online shopping at the amount displayed in the local currency without worrying about exchange rate fluctuations.

In addition to GMO Epsilon's "Credit card payment (multi-currency)" service, GMO Payment Gateway provides "GMO-PG Global Payment," a service that allows EC businesses with local subsidiaries in overseas countries to use local payment method in each country. Japan GMO Epsilon and GMO Payment Gateway will continue to strengthen their support systems so that they can meet all the needs of e-commerce businesses that are considering business development not only in Japan but also overseas.
