As a result, e-commerce businesses using "freee" and "epsilon" will be able to automatically link payment-related data to accounting software, which will significantly reduce accounting work.

GMO Epsilon provides "Epsilon," a payment service that bundles various payment method such as Credit card payment and CVS Payment, at a low price for e-commerce businesses. In addition, we are actively developing additional services such as delivery and chargeback warranty services to support e-commerce operations for merchants who have introduced "Epsilon", and have been very well received by many merchants.
On the other hand, freee is developing a cloud-based accounting software "freee" for sole proprietors and SME that can be easily used without knowledge of bookkeeping. Since its launch in March 2013, freee has been used by more than 12,000 business establishments, and the number of companies using it is steadily increasing.

In recent years, it has become relatively easy to enter the e-commerce market, with many SME and sole proprietors entering the market. However, in accounting operations, which are indispensable for EC operations, there are few services that link the accounting software and accounting system used with the payment system of the online store, and EC businesses that cannot spend the cost of linkage development have to manually import payment-related data into the accounting software, which is a big burden.

Against this background, GMO Epsilon has formed a business alliance with freee to automatically link the fully automated cloud-based accounting software "freee" provided by freee with the payment-related data of "Epsilon". By using "freee", e-commerce businesses that are members of "epsilon" can save the time and effort of manually entering payment-related data, automate journal entries and daily accounting processes, and easily create reports, accounting books, blue tax returns, financial statements, and other materials in accordance with the Companies Act without hassle. This can significantly reduce the workload of accounting work.
At the same time, GMO Epsilon began distributorship sales of "freee" to member stores on October 24, 2013.

GMO Epsilon is a provider of payment processing services with no initial costs or transaction processing fees*. Just by contract with GMO Epsilon, you can use various payment method and delivery services such as "Epsilon" Credit card payment, CVS Payment, E-wallet, and smartphone carrier payment at once, without the need to build a system for each payment company. Since the product price collected from the buyer and the freight settlement for delivery are also done in one go, it is possible to save a lot of time and cost. In addition, TSE is a member of the GMO Internet Group, which is a partially listed company, and the security standards of the system comply with ISMS, making it an environment that merchants can use with peace of mind. As of the end of June 2013, the number of merchants using GMO Epsilon's services has increased by more than 20% annually to 22,675 stores.

freee was established in July 2012 and operates the fully automated cloud-based accounting software "freee".
