GMO Enpay, Inc.
The cashless service "enpay byGMO," provided by GMO Internet Group's GMO Enpay, Inc. (*1) (President & Chief Executive Officer: Junichi Moriwaki, hereinafter referred to as GMO Enpay), has started integration with "Sughool," a communication system for educational environments provided by SPIRAL LOCAS Inc.
In educational collection operations, the separation of communication and collection-related notification methods can easily place operational burdens on both faculty and parents, and issues tend to become apparent during fiscal year milestones and busy periods. Starting June 2026, both companies will sequentially introduce this collaboration to educational institutions and municipalities nationwide, including existing service providers, to assist in budgeting and operational planning for educational institutions and municipalities.
- *1 GMO Enpay is a consolidated company of GMO Payment Gateway, Inc..
[Value Realized Through This Collaboration]
With this collaboration, facilities that have implemented "Sughool" (*2) will be able to distribute notifications related to collection (payment requests, payment results, re-billing, etc.) sent from "enpay byGMO" on "Sughool" which parents use daily. This creates an environment where both the facility and parents can exchange everything from communication to collection-related notifications with a single "Sughool" app.
1. Value for Facilities: Centralization from Communication to Collection Notifications
At facilities equipped with "Sughool," communication tasks and collection-related notifications can be consolidated within "Sughool." This reduces the need to use multiple tools together and the effort of individual guidance, thereby easing the operational burden on faculty and staff.
2. Value for Parents: Aggregating Notification Channels
Parents can also receive notifications about collection (payment requests, payment results, reclaims, etc.) on the "Sughool" account where they receive regular communications, eliminating the need to use multiple channels separately.
■ Main notifications distributed through "Sughool"
・ payment Requests
・ payment Results
・Re-billing (urging) for non-paid customers, etc.
- (※2) Separate setup is required for integration. If you have already implemented both services and wish to integrate them, please contact your GMO Enpay representative or via the inquiry form.
[About 'Sughool']
(URL:https://www.locas.info/sughool/)"Sughool" is a communication system for educational sites that supports initiatives related to "work style reform for teaching staff" and "schools that stand together with the community."
By introducing "Sughool," daily tasks such as message distribution, absence/tardiness notifications, surveys, and health communication notebooks can be centrally managed, significantly reducing the burden on faculty and parents. Currently, it has been implemented by over 200 boards of education nationwide and supports integration with external systems such as school support systems and school collection systems.
[About "enpay byGMO"]
(URL:https://www.enpay.co.jp/)"enpay byGMO" is a collection support service that makes all collection processes cashless and paperless in industries such as childcare and education, making collection operations overwhelmingly simple.
By introducing "enpay by GMO," you can handle cashless collection operations, allowing you to complete the entire process from issuing invoice to creating accounting data completely paperless in about 30 minutes.
Going forward, by promoting DX in collection operations in the childcare and education industries, we aim to create more dedicated time for teachers and childcare workers to focus on childcare and education, thereby opening up opportunities for children.
[ About GMO Enpay, Inc.]
Under the mission of "Gentle Fintech," we offer a FinTech × SaaS platform that realizes cashless and DX of collection operations specialized for the childcare and education industries.
In the childcare and education industry, cash collection has traditionally been the mainstream, and computer-based operations are rare, so cash transactions are still common. Before and after collection, facilities handle a wide range of administrative tasks such as informing the amount, issuing receipts, and urging parents who have not paid, and parents also have the trouble of preparing cash. To address these challenges, GMO Enpay offers a one-stop solution that addresses everything from billing to payment and deposit settlement management, while incorporating digital-age needs such as chat apps.
The business models of our core services, "enpay by GMO" and "koufuri+ by GMO," have obtained multiple patent rights. We also develop and provide user interfaces that consider UI/UX, which help reduce the physical and psychological burden on both facilities and parents, and are also focusing on promoting products based on AI utilization, including "Rakuraku AI Invoice Import."
Since its founding in November 2018, the company has continued to grow, with over 3,400 facilities introduced nationwide, mainly including nurseries, children's centers, kindergartens, schools, and after-school facilities (※3), and its adoption in many municipalities is progressing.
