Marketing using SNS - Against the background of the rapid increase in users in recent years, it is now considered important in all industries and is an area that is expected to grow in the future. Therefore, we decided to hold this seminar on the theme of social media marketing using "Twitter", which is one of the most used SNS in Japan and overseas, and is also handled as a programmatic advertisement by our Online advertising service. This time, in the first part, we specially invited Mr. Hasegawa of Twitter as a lecturer to talk about advertising promotion strategies using "Twitter".
The seminar was held in the morning when the temperature did not rise yet, but it ended with great success, with more than 80 customers visiting and being able to line up for questions to the instructors even after the seminar.
[Part 1] The latest trends and usage of Twitter

In the first part, Mr. Hasegawa of Twitter Inc. took the stage and explained the features of Twitter ad "promo product", and the actual use case of the promo product, including videos.
As you know, Twitter is a social media that allows you to instantly transmit and collect ideas and information without language or cultural barriers by "Tweet" that allows you to post up to 140 characters. The features are very simple. "Live," "Public," "Conversational," and "Distributed" — for example, Apple CEO Tim Cook's tweet from the new iPhone 6 at the time of the announcement of the new iPhone caused a stir around the world.

That's exactly what real-time messages like on Twitter are sent out to a lot of people, and from there, conversations are born and further spread. Because of these simple, easy-to-use features, the number of Twitter users has grown exponentially in a few years, and the number of Twitter users has grown exponentially in a few years, and the number of monthly active users is now estimated at 284 million. The number of tweets is said to be 500 million tweets per day worldwide, but the number of tweets in Japan accounts for a significant percentage. Twitter allows you to combine the above promoted products with a variety of targeting based on attributes such as language, interests, gender, and device, as well as keywords in the content of the tweet. Since ordinary persona analysis can be converted into high-precision targeting by Twitter's own database and utilized for promotion, the use by companies is increasing, and further growth is expected in the future. In particular, in recent years, there has been an increase in the number of cases of promotion by tweets using videos and linking with TV programs using the #hashtag on Twitter.

There is no doubt that the use of Twitter for business as a whole is increasing, but there were probably many marketers who were still at a standstill in using it for full-fledged promotions, or who were using it through trial and error.
