GMO Internet Group's GMO Financial Gate, Inc. (*1) (President & Chief Executive Officer: Kentaro Sugiyama, hereinafter referred to as GMO-FG) will start offering a new multi-payment terminal "F3" for the amusement market on Friday, December 5, 2025.
The F3 is a low-cost, compact, multi-payment terminal that supports credit cards, electronic money, and QR codes developed for amusement facilities such as game centers. It was developed to reduce the burden of cash management, prevent fraud, improve operational efficiency, and respond to inbound demand.

■Challenges in the amusement market
In recent years, with the increase in prize game machines (amusement equipment such as crane games that can win prizes), the following issues have emerged in store management.
- 1. Burden of cash management: Cash collection and aggregation from each game console becomes more complicated
- 2. Increased costs: Rising giveaway costs and labor costs put pressure on profit margins
- 3. Fraud risk management: Increasing the difficulty of preventing and detecting fraud, such as the difference between cash and the number of plays.
In terms of the environment, the following two points are also major changes.

■Overview of the new terminal "F3"
F3 is a new model that responds to these changes in the market environment and combines payment convenience and operational efficiency in amusement facilities.
- • Low cost and compact design: The combination of ease of integration into the enclosure and installation cost makes it easy to install in retrofit to existing game consoles, allowing for installation with a low initial investment.

-QR code payment (CPM system, top camera mounted) - • Scalable Android-based: Easy to install proprietary applications such as house card payment and points apps
- • Universal connection method: Compatible with PULSE communication method, can be connected to existing devices such as capsule toy machines and coin-operated karaoke
In addition, it is equipped with a counting function for the number of cash payment and the number of prizes taken out of the game console, and it can be checked in real time from the sales management screen. This reduces operational burden and aids in accurate revenue management.
