As a result, it will be possible to pay the university examination fee by credit card, which will be used for the 2010 graduate school entrance examination of the University of Tokyo (President: Junichi Hamada).

The University of Tokyo will introduce the collection of examination fees by credit card from the 2010 graduate school entrance examination. At the end of July 2009, we started paying the examination fee by credit card for overseas test takers, and we plan to start paying it to domestic test takers from the end of August 2009.

With the introduction of credit card payment for examination fees, test takers will be able to enjoy the convenience of being able to payment at any time and place via the Internet, as well as the benefits of receiving points when using a credit card, unlike conventional Bank transfer. In addition, for test takers from overseas, there is no need to go through the troublesome process of transferring the examination fee from the counter of an overseas bank.

On the university side, we can promote the creation of a university that makes it easy for students to study abroad by improving the efficiency of administrative work, securing candidates by reducing the burden of collecting examination fees, and making it convenient for examinees who come to study abroad.

OPT Japan's "e-payment site" used for the University of Tokyo Graduate School Entrance Examination has added the Credit card payment function of GMO-PG, so you can payment the university examination fee with a credit card.

The "e-payment site" has been operating stably for the past nine years, and has been Actual used by 200 universities (including junior colleges), 24 graduate schools, and 20 elementary, junior high, and high schools in 2009, as of 2009.

On the other hand, GMO-PG's Credit card payment is used by approximately 20,000 businesses due to its large number of Actual, abundant operational experience, and high security management measures (*2).
