GMO Payment Service, Inc. (President & Chief Executive Officer: Katsunari Mukai hereinafter referred to as "GMO-PS"), a consolidated company of GMO Payment Gateway, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "GMO-PG") of the GMO Internet Group, has announced that it will provide a Payment After Delivery service "GMO B2B Pay on Credit" for businesses that conduct BtoB transactions, regardless of whether they are online (EC) or offline (face-to-face). It is now available from today, November 13, 2020 (Friday).
" GMO B2B Pay on Credit" is a service in which GMO-PS acts on behalf of the billing of the introducing company, which is the seller side, in BtoB transactions, where the payment of the price by a fixed date is the mainstream.
In addition to reducing the burden on the selling company, this service reduces the payment of the buyer company and GMO-PS will deposit the sales proceeds on the prescribed date (*1).

Japan payment in domestic BtoB transactions is generally a "kake-pay" in which a invoice is sent after the delivery or provision of goods or services and paid by a fixed date. However, the selling company has a burden of work, such as "work such as credit decision, issuance of invoice, payment management, and reminders in the event of non-payment" and "there is a possibility that the collection of accounts receivable will be delayed or not possible" and there is a risk of collecting accounts receivable.
Under these circumstances, there is a movement to promote DX (Digital Transformation), which is not limited to paperless operations and operational efficiency, but also transforms business models using IT. As part of this effort, the introduction of Payment After Delivery service, which acts as a proxy for billing-related operations that place a heavy burden on BtoB transactions and reimbursement of sales proceeds, is progressing (*2).
Therefore, GMO-PS has decided to provide "GMO B2B Pay on Credit" Payment After Delivery service for BtoB transactions by utilizing the knowledge and know-how of the Payment After Delivery service "GMO Payment After Delivery" for BtoC EC transactions that has been provided since May 2013 with the aim of promoting DX in BtoB transactions of seller companies and eliminating the burden of uncollected risk.

[About "GMO B2B Pay on Credit"]

"GMO B2B Pay on Credit" is a Payment After Delivery service for BtoB transactions provided by GMO-PS. Regardless of whether you are a corporation or sole proprietor, you can use it for all BtoB transactions, regardless of whether you are a corporation or sole proprietorship, regardless of whether you are a route sales partner who regularly uses it, or customers who use subscription-type services, regardless of whether you are a business partner (*3)。credit check ・ invoice GMO-PS takes care of tasks such as issuance, payment management, and reminders in the event of non-payment, so businesses can improve the efficiency of their billing operations. ・ Individual invoice issuance service : Issue individual invoice before the closing date, instead of issuing invoice one month's transactions
・ payment deadline extension service : Extend the payment deadline of the business partner (buyer company) up to 6 months later
・ Frame-guaranteed transaction service : Since the available limit is set between the business operator and its business partner (buyer company), the business partner (buyer company) can payment without worrying about the purchase amount of other business partners.
・ Collection agency service : GMO-PS will take over the subsequent invoice issuance and payment management even for transactions that did not pass the credit check.
