[Background of the launch of "E-mail Link payment"]

In recent years, the number of Japanese companies doing business overseas has been increasing, and approximately 11,000 companies (*3) in Japan have established local subsidiaries in the East and Southeast Asian regions.
Among these Japanese companies, BtoB businesses are required to conduct transactions using Credit card payment, which can solve issues such as the hassle of collecting sales receivables, the risk of non-collection, and the reduction of the time and effort required to manage the credit of business partners.
On the other hand, BtoC businesses are requesting not only face-to-face sales at physical stores, but also "Thailand sell online" and "Thailand to respond to orders from phone calls and SNS messages."
However, it is difficult to introduce new e-commerce deployments and payment systems because they take time and money. Therefore, GMO-PG has added an "email link payment" to the overseas payment service "Z.com Payment" that allows online transactions by Credit card payment without having a full-fledged e-commerce site.

(*3) GMO-PG calculates the number of Japanese subsidiaries in Thailand, Indonesia, Viet Nam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong S.A.R., based on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' "Survey of the Number of Japanese Residents Overseas (2016)" and the Toyo Keizai Inc. "Directory of Companies Expanding Overseas by Country (2016)".
