On Wednesday, September 20, 2017, GMO Payment Gateway, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "GMO-PG") entered into a capital alliance with Bplats Co., Ltd. (President & Chief Executive Officer: Kenji Fujita, hereinafter referred to as "Bplats"), which provides a subscription * system.

In addition, services that analyze and utilize data obtained from IoT services and other services to provide data on a subscription-type basis and make it revenue are also emerging.
By introducing subscription-type transactions, the introduction of subscription businesses is also progressing because stable management can be achieved from a "flow type" that earns revenue each time it is sold to a "stock type" that can continuously earn revenue.
Against this backdrop, GMO-PG is working with various companies to support the subscription business of Japan operators in payment. As part of this effort, we have formed a capital alliance with Bplatz, which provides subscription systems with a particular focus on IoT, communications, and cloud marketplaces. In the future, GMO-PG will continue to consider business collaboration with Bplatz in order to expand its subscription business.
